Send a Holiday Card to a Death Row Inmate

Dear Abolitionists:

With the end of 2007 a few weeks away, all us at NYADP (David, Laura, Susan,
Marie, Janice, Jim, Les, Frances, and Carrie) wanted to say thank you for all
you have done during this past year to bring us closer to our goal of ending
the death penalty in New York. While we have not had a legislative victory such
as New Jersey’s historic vote for abolition, we have prevented the death
penalty from being reinstated. With our reaching out to ever wider audiences
with educational forums and our grassroots political pressure, we know we are
closer to abolition than ever before!

I wish you and your families much happiness in each other’s company, and am
including below the addresses of Death Row prisoners who are in need of the
“company” of letters during this time. Holiday wishes to any of these men would
be much appreciated by them, as well as their families. On these chilly nights
before the New Year, have a warm cup of tea and share the gift of your good
wishes with them through writing.

See you in 2008!
In solidarity,
Colleen
