Great chance to take a course on auditioning over at the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington. The teacher is Glenn Andriev. Ian and I took a similar course with him on low-budget film making. Found him to be knowledgeable, personable, and connected.

How do talent perform successful auditions? How do filmmakers audition the right talent for their films? What are common audition/casting mistakes talent and casting people make. Whether you are an actor or a filmmaker, this workshop will help you make the right choices. Film-maker Glenn Andreiev, who has auditioned actors for many feature films, and shorts, offers a information crammed and fun morning class on how a casting audition can work for the actors and film-maker. The class will be broken into groups where students will hold casting auditions.

Bio for the teacher: Glenn Andreiev

Glenn Andreiev is a graduate of New York’s School of Visual Arts and has taught film making in many New York venues. He produced, directed and distributed six feature films and documentaries and has been featured on CNN and Court TV. His latest film, The Deed to Hell, was shot in Paris, Rome, and Greece and recently premiered at Cinema Arts Centre. Click here for his official website.
