WBAI meeting postponed: Wed. LSB postpned

KW: I did not know there was a meeting. But, folks were asked to get the word out due to the sudden change:

The Wed., April 15th Local Station Board meeting for WBAI has been postponed. Below is a letter from Mitch Cohen of the LSB:

Meeting is postponed. Please announce and repost: My fellow Pacificans, I learned Tuesday night that the Fortune Foundation’s elevators are broken. Pacifica rightly requires that all official meetings be held in places that are handicapped accessible. We clearly are not allowed to meet at that location Wednesday night as originally planned. As soon as I learned of the situation with the elevators, I arranged for the LSB to meet in the conference room at WBAI. However, since there are objections to changing the location of the meeting on such short notice, we will postpone the LSB meeting until a future date. As per the bylaws, the officers will schedule a new meeting date for the adjourned meeting, with sufficient notice. Please get word out to your various lists, and we’ll also announce the postponement over the air.

Mitchel Cohen, on behalf of the Officers of the WBAI Local Station Board
