What next in NY State Senate coup?

Wed. June 10th, 3:30pm update at wilderside is: here.
________________________

The two main concerns that seemed to stem from the June 8, 2009 coup are: 1. What will the Democrats do? and 2. Oh, my! What is going to happen to the same sex marriage proposal? (Several people asked this when told the news of the coup.)

Here are Elizabeth Benjamin’s excellent answers to both questions:

1. “The Senate Democrats are still scrambling to come up with a way out of their current predicament…” Detailed list of possible strategies at Daily Politics: here.

2. “The Empire State Pride Agenda, which helped the Democrats take control of the Senate with an eye toward getting same-sex marriage passed in the chamber, is refusing to take sides in the leadership fight.” Rest of the story is: here.
