LI Concert Notes #49 10/14/09

“Music is a basic need of human survival. Music is one of the ways we make sense of our lives, one of the ways in which we express feelings when we have no words, a way for us to understand things with our hearts when we can’t with our minds.”  — The Power of Music  By Dr. Karl Paulnack,Director of the Music Division of Boston Conservatory

  1. Hi Gary,
I’ve got a bunch of music jobs coming up in March of 2010 and I was wondering if you’d like to publicize them. Most are with Larry Moser’s Fiddler’s Green band, some are with Mike McCormack, and a few are solo jobs. They’re nearly all at Long Island libraries.
You can e-mail me at this address or call me at
631-xxx-xxx if you’re intrested. I would be delighted to e-mail you a list of the shows.
    Hope to hear from you!
    Regards,
    John Corr

  2. Part of our mission is to support the local music scene. We always re-post the email listings from Gary Schoenberger liconcertnotes@optonline.net (like the one above) and Richard de Bruin RdeBruin@OptonLine.net . I would make sure they have your upcoming gigs.

    peace
    Ian
