Superbowl Sunday, The Who on stage: In March, The Who’s “Tommy” on Long Island

Who videos at bottom of post…

KW: Hurrah! I am so excited. I do not have a TV. And, I barely care about football. But, I just found out that The Who will be performing at the Superbowl halftime show. Super cool! And, they are supposedly playing a mash-up that includes “Pinball Wizard” and the finale from the rock opera Tommy!

Did you know that you can see The Who’s Tommy on stage in Long Island in March? It is being performed at DHPAC at Five Towns College. I can’t wait to go.

I am going to do a follow-up post today or tomorrow with musings on the fit between The Who and The Superbowl and on football players and Pinball Wizards. But, for now, just wanted to let people know that if you like what you see on TV tonight, you can get more, more, more at the DHPAC/Dix Hills Performing Arts Center in March!

Here are the show times:

Thursday, March 11, 7:30 pm
Friday, March 12, 7:30 pm
Saturday, March 13, 7:30 pm
Sunday, March 14, 2:00 pm

You can get tickets through the DHPAC box office at (631) 656-2148. Or, you can go on-line (and see the cool splash page for Tommy) at: www.dhpac.org/Tommy.htm
