10/5/2011 Occupy Wall Street: 8:45pm update

A protester/journalist is tweeting live here:
https://twitter.com/#!/PennyRed

Reports that 20 people were arrested.

Reports that police were macing and pepper-spraying swaths of people.

On the LIVE STREAM, it looks quiet. Not sure if that is just one area. Well, I think they are currently arresting one person. I hear them chanting “What’s your name?” and “Shame, shame, shame…”

I think the protesters tried to go on the literal Wall Street, and the police would not let them go.
