What was the turnout for the peace march in Port Jefferson today?

An activist on the ground reports 75 to 100 people. It was a big turnout, with many new faces including Occupy members, and several Public Access media folks.  Also, a woman recording speeches with a recorder who seems to be from a regular radio or print outlet. The crowd and organizers included Green Party of Suffolk members, including the county Treasurer, Vice Chair, and Secretary.

The police were friendly, and even helped the marchers cross the street. Bill McNulty thanked the police for helping folks express their Free Speech, and the peace demonstrators clapped for the police.
