Hofstra University, University Club, North Campus, Hempstead, New York

Long Island Housing Services (LIHS), the private nonprofit fair housing advocacy and enforcement agency serving Nassau and Suffolk Counties, in partnership with Hofstra University’s National Center for Suburban Studies and the Department of Sociology, will present results of its most recent research into lending patterns.

The symposium will provide an overview of fair housing/fair lending laws.  All are welcome: academics, attorneys, advocates, government, non-profit, housing counselors, press and public stakeholders.  This program is made possible with the support of HUD’s Fair Housing Organization Initiative Program. A light lunch will be served.

Take Grand Central Parkway East to the Northern State Parkway East to Meadowbrook Parkway South (Exit 31A). Continue as state below from the Meadowbrook Parkway

From Eastern Long Island:

Take Northern State Parkway to Meadowbrook Parkway South (Exit 31A) or Southern State Parkway to Meadowbrook Parkway North (Exit 22N).

Proceed on Meadowbrook Parkway to Exit M4 West (Hempstead Turnpike). Follow Hempstead Turnpike (Route 24) west to Hofstra, approximately 1 ½ miles. Turn right at light before 2nd Unispan, entering North Campus. David S. Mack Hall/University Club is on the right side. Signs will direct you to available parking.
