Homecoming Farm will be offering it’s Fifth Annual Spring Awakening on April 18, 2015 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Helen Butler Hall at Dominican Village, 565 Albany Avenue, Amityville, NY  11701. The program is entitled “A Celebration of Thomas Berry and The Earth Community as One Community of Life. The registration fee of $30 per person includes lunch.

This year Homecoming Farm will be celebrating the vision and legacy of Thomas Berry that lives in our hearts and our work. They will be welcoming

This  event will include presentations, media, and discussion of our shared experience of living the vision of Thomas Berry, now and into the future.

Homecoming Farm, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville  is committed to the belief that the human and natural world is one community of life. They believe when we care for the Earth, we care for ourselves, each other, and future generations while creating sustainable communities.  
Homecoming Farm, entering it’s 19th season,  is a NOFA NY LLC certified organic Community Supported Agriculture, (CSA) farm located on the grounds of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville.  Members purchase shares in the farm and also participate in the donation of food to the Interfaith Nutrition Network, (The INN).
