**NYADP URGENT ACTION TO SAVE TROY:
FORWARD WIDELY!**

Abolitionists:

Martina, Troy’s sister, has informed us of our new strategy in the fight to save Troys life: we need to get as many phone calls, faxes, and e-mails as possible to District Attorney LARRY CHISOLM. Chisolm is the first black DA in Chatham County, GA,  who campaigned on Obama’s promise for change, equality under law, accountability and fairness. 

WHY:

He has the ability to reopen the case, since he is the DA of the County
wherein Troy was convicted.  He furthermore can request the parole board to commute the sentence to Life or time served.

WHAT:

We need to appeal to him on the basis of his responsibility as D.A: he is supposed to make sure the right person is behind bars. Chisolm already knows the 7 of 9 witnesses have already recanted, we need to talk to him about Beyond a Reasonable Doubt. The fact that 4 jurors have also come forward and said they would not convict with the information they know now.  Please keep letters positive as he has not said he won’t do anything, he has not really said anything i think he is looking for political coverage.

HOW:

LETTERS, FAXES, E-MAILS, PHONE CALLS, ask DA Holmes to reopen Troy Anthony Davis’ case due to the tremendous evidence of innocence!
Talking points:
1. No weapon was ever found
2. No physical evidence used to convict
3. 7 or 9 witnesses have recanted their testimony against  Troy and said they were coerced by the police
4. One of the remaining witnesses is the other principal suspect.
