Malachy McCourt, as our Govenor candidate, has both name recognition and the ability to articulate himself to such a degree that when we get on the ballot he will be able to get us 50,000 votes to regain automatic ballot status. Howie Hawkins, as our US Senate candidate, has been a strong voice for the peace movement, challenging the major parties unwillingness to oppose the Iraq war and the Patriot Act.
