Thurs Aug 31 Harry Chapin Tribute Concert Lotsof your favorite performers at Nassau County’s Eisenhower Park + other fine events + the fall schedule

Dear Folk Music Fans,

“The man who has two tunics is to share with him who has none; and he who has food is to do likewise.” Luke 3 :11

“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’ ” Matthew 25:34-40

Sept & Oct Diabetes Research Foundation’s Walk to Cure Diabetes

To support Jim Goodin’s www.jimgoodin.com jimgoodinmusic@gmail.com 10 year old daughter Callie Goodin in the 2006 Walk to Cure Diabetes

“Type 1, or juvenile, diabetes, is a devastating, often deadly disease that affects millions of people–a large and growing percentage of them children.

“Many people think type 1 diabetes can be controlled by insulin. While insulin does keep people with type 1 diabetes alive, it is NOT a cure. Aside from the daily challenges of living with type 1 diabetes, there are many severe, often fatal, complications caused by the disease.”
