“MEET THE CANDIDATES” NIGHT
at the
Bay Shore Public Library on Montauk Highway

The candidates at all levels, from all political parties, are invited to come and answer questions on NOW’s six major issues:
Reproductive Rights;
Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Rights; Stopping Violence Against Women;
Ending Racism;
an Equal Rights Amendment; and
Economic Justice for Women.
The NYS Legislature passes or rejects bills affecting important areas of women’s lives, such as matrimony and domestic relations, health, insurance, reproductive rights, wages, and the environment. This November, elections will be held for the NYS Senate and NYS Assembly, in addition to other offices.
Come and hear what your prospective representatives have to say about their position on women’s issues.
