South Suffolk NOW Meet the Candidate’s Forum

Statewide candidates as well as local–Babylon and Islip–candidates will answer questions related to NOW’s core issues of:
- Reproductive Rights;
- Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Rights;
- Stopping Violence Against Women;
- Ending Racism;
- an Equal Rights Amendment; and
- Economic Justice for Women.
There will be time set aside for questions from the audience.
Malachy McCourt, Green Party candidate for Governor, will attend in person. Malachy is an author and activist, know for his NY Times Best-Seller, “A Monk Swimming.” Malachy has also been a radio host, including on WBAI 99.5 FM Pacifica Radio. Malachy’s words are always entertaining and insightful.
