Club Veg BBQ & Ice Cream Social – and Curry Club Restaurant Outing

Saturday, August 11 , 3pm to 7pm

Fourth Annual Vegan BBQ and Vegan Ice Cream Social
Elwood Park Pavilion, Cuba Hill Road, East Northport
Directions: Take LIE Exit 53 (Commack Rd.) north to Jericho Turnpike (Route 25). Turn left and continue to Elwood Rd. Turn right on Elwood Rd. and turn left on Cuba Hill Rd.
To RSVP, send a check made out to Club Veg, to POB 93, Holtsville, 11742 by Tuesday, August 7.

This is Club Veg Long Island’s most popular event. This year the BBQ and Ice Cream Social will be held at Elwood Park in East Northport so that we can accommodate more attendees. The BBQ will feature Tofurky (that’s tofu, not turkey!) hot dogs, potato salad, coleslaw, eggless salad, and soft drinks. The Ice Cream Social is generously sponsored by
Turtle Mountain Foods, who will be supplying the Soy Ice Cream. There will be no alcoholic beverages served or permitted at the event.

The BBQ is $20 for Club Veg members, $10 for children ten and under, and $22 for non-members. Children five and under are free. To RSVP, send a check made out to Club Veg, to POB 93, Holtsville, 11742 by Tuesday, August 7. Call Susan at 631-821-5836 for more information. Attendance is limited to 50. In the event of questionable or inclement weather, call Susan to confirm that the event will still be held. Please let us know if you are available to help with setting up or cleaning up. Participants are asked to bring a plate, cup, utensils, and a cloth napkin.

Restaurant Outing: Curry Club All You Can Eat Vegan Buffet
Rt. 25A East of Nicholls Road in Setauket

Join Club Veg for an all you can eat buffet of the delicious flavors of India. If less than 40 people, we will be served family style, at the table. $18.00 includes meal, tax, and tip. Beverages are extra. Reservations required by calling Susan at 631-821-5836 by the Friday preceding the dinner.
