So Edwards, with his talk of Unions, and his criticism of Mum and Dad (Corporations) is history. How did it happen that polls showed him having a good chance in Nevada, but instead he got crushed? There’s got to be a story there. But at this point it seems irrelevant. I think it’s time for Edwards to get out of the race. He’s gone from a strong showing in Iowa to single digits in Nevada. I dunno – I guess he reminds people too much of Carter, while Obama reminds people of Reagan, something Obama obviously intends to play up.
And if Edwards is serious about his issues, I suggest he join the Green Party. Look at the situation, John: the Dems are clearly fully intending to elect a quasi-GOP candidate. The Democratic Party really doesn’t even exist any more.
As for me, I’ll be voting Green in 2008 I’m pretty sure. I’ll be writing less about politics, I think, and more about the things I want to anyway, such as culture. Happy War America! Happy Depression! Happy Empire! Happy Trainwreck!!
