Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, John Edwards Fans

from OpEdNews

You oppose the war and occupation of Iraq. You oppose the continued shredding of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. You know that corporate powers have stolen our democracy. You understand that there has been electronic hijacking of the democratic process. You know that the corporate media is lying to the American people, including the so called progressive Nation magazine. You support Impeachment. You asked the tough questions about the need for 9-11 Truth. You supported Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, John Edwards and watched as the system stole your voice and presented you with their post scripted, pre-ordained “choice.”

Super Tuesday has come and gone. Your mad as hell and your not going to take it anymore. You also know that you are not alone. There is still hope. There is someone who will speak out for us all. Someone who will stand up and fight for us and against those wealthy elites and the system they work so hard to protect. That person has the courage, integrity and smarts to stand up and actually change things. Change, not as a corporate friendly and tested slogan but change for real. Someone who will talk truth to the American people and expose the lies that are the media today. That person, without question is Cynthia McKinney.

At this point, we will hear voices, whispering or even screaming “but you have to support…….. because after all …… is just so bad, so awful.” We need to look at who those voices are and who they represent. They are the voices of those who are wed to and benefiting the system or those who do not possess the moral fortitude to oppose it. They are the voices representing the corporate elites who have stolen our democracy, taken our media and airwaves. They are the voices of cowards. They will tell us that “Cynthia McKinney can’t win.”

Our answer should be that is precisely why we support McKinney. She is opposed to a system which will not allow her to win, to a system that does not allow people like us to win. A system that ensures that “they” will win. More than that though, McKinney will do something else. Cynthia McKinney will ensure that the movement that Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Ralph Nader and John Edwards help start, stays alive. That movement is the movement for a real. representative democratic republic, where the will of “we the people” will be listened to, instead of corporate, wealthy lobbyists and those they represent. That is why we will support Cynthia McKinney and we think you should too. There is still hope.

  2. Keep the RP faith brothers. Nothing is over until you cast your vote in november. The message is infectious and I’ve found it spreads easily. The media is fighting hard to isolate the contagion but the disease just won’t go away. Keep sneezing the bitter truth in everyones face and we just might end up with a freedom epidemic. Well, I’ve run this metaphore into the ground so…..Ron Paul ’08!

  3. metaphor…?
