Kites at Robert Moses Beach (c) Ian Wilder

It was such a beautiful day. Ian and I went on an adventure to relax and to experience some of the healing scenes of nature. We had good luck and bad luck. We just missed an exciting event, but at least we saw all the other people who were happy about it. As we walked towards the beach near Robert Moses, Field 5, we saw tons of families all walking away towards the parking lot. Ian said it looked like something exciting had happened. We had just missed the release of two rehabilitated seals back into the ocean. The Riverhead Foundation was there to do the release. Oh, well, I am glad they were released, and we heard exciting chattering about how fun it was to see them play in the water and swim away.

We also got some nice photos of the beach, kites at the beach, and photos of the workers from the Riverhead Foundation walking back after their successful release.

Hope you get some sunshine and happiness today. It is nice to be in nature.
