When: July 27th, 4-8pm
Where: Hauppauge Legislature
The Suffolk Legislature has granted our request for a public hearing before the new voting machines will be selected. The decision as to which voting machine system will replace our lever machines is supposed to be made by commissioners in early August. Therefore, this will be the only hearing at which the commissioners and legislators as well as other elected officials will be present to hear your concerns and preferences before the decision is made.
The vendors will be demonstrating the machines in the legislature’s lobby, and people will be given an opportunity try out the machines, to testify and ask questions.
