At at Yale symphony orchestra last night saw a piece composed by our friend Brian Robinson. Very cool with dissonance and sound masses. Title: Revelation. also a 1950’s piece by Liegti and Mozart with a world renowned pianist. Very fulfilling adventure. nice sense of beginning for Brian. Great to see him and his wife who we know from the NYC poetry scene. A relaxing fairly apolitical weekend. except for the Prokofiev final coda.
