Yodice in Williamsburg (1/08) & Riverhead (2/08)

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is enjoying the winter; I’ve had years where I counted down the days until Spring but I’ve been slowly making friends with the cold, wind and snow; and have been welcoming the short days, though, as you may notice, winter hasn’t attained capital status in my book of improvised and personalized grammar. Eventually it will, I’m certain.

Here’s the news for January and February…

Two shows in Brooklyn this month, first –

Sunday, January 6th

Also on the bill are some wonderful songwriters – Laura Jean Binkley at 7, Gemma Connell at 8 and Ariel Dixon at 10.

   then-

Wednesday, January 23rd
    11pm at
      Laila Lounge presented by JezebelMusic.com

In February, I’ll be on Long Island for a good part of the month as Artist in Residence at Riverhead’s East End Arts Council.  A slew of performances at vineyards on the North Fork are scheduled that month, I’ll post the dates in a couple of weeks.

I’ll be teaching acoustic guitar workshops on in the Council’s Carraige House on Main Street in Riverhead Wednesday evenings and giving private lessons throughout the week.

Details and information about the East End Arts Council can be found here www.eastendarts.org.

See ya, Mark
