PeaceSmiths, Inc. is a non-profit organization, centered in Long Island. The mission of PeaceSmiths includes community organizing for peace and justice through education, activism, culture and mutual help. PeaceSmiths’ work includes supporting and sometimes organizing demonstrations, holding a monthly (Oct-June) Coffeehouse, and ongoing Community Forums.

With the loss of PeaceSmiths Coordinator Susan Blake, the PeaceSmiths Folk Dance will be very special, but also very different this year. Expect some good food in about 2 courses, a Maypole as the sharing activity, and a concert from 6pm-9pm organized by Board Member Sonny Meadows. Also, the usual celebration, discussion, fundraising and (shorter) announcements.
