Why Gore lost in 2000!

Sen. Joe Lieberman to speak at GOP convention

Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman, the Democratic Party’s vice presidential candidate in 2000 and now an independent who is one of John McCain’s strongest supporters, will speak at the Republican National Convention, an official said.

In case you don’t remember Al Gore picked the right-wing Lieberman as his vice presidential candidate in 2000.  (Lieberman gave a show of faith to Gore by continuing to run for re-election as a Senator in Connecticut in 2000. at the same time he was running for VP)  No wonder millions of registered Democrats voted for Bush in 2000.  Why should they vote for a right-winger as VP, when they can vote for him as Prez?
