All of “youtube” down?

Update: Please check the technology site Erictric for updates. They are following closely. So far, I learned from their site: The outages were not affecting California at the same time as the East Coast; the outage was on and off; and youtube has now posted its own, new “store” — which may have been connected to the outages.

My post from earlier this afternoon:

I tried to get on youtube just now. First time, spun and spun, and then a message “youtube down for maintenance.” Then I tried again and it just spun a lot.

Maybe someone forgot to set the clocks at youtube?

It’s Sunday, November 1st at 1:44pm. (Oh, maybe everyone is posting and watching the eye-candy of Halloween and Day of the Dead festivities?)
