IW: First they all seems clueless to how misogynistic the phrase “Man Up” is.

Second, they seem clueless to the concept of democracy. The media’s job is to be a marketplace of ideas, not merely a marketplace. it’s not supposed to be a playground for the 2 riches kids. And as much as they try they can’t hide that those 2 kids basically have the same slash and burn economic theory for the state.

The voters of the state decide who get to be the candidates, not the media. Once those candidates are decided by the voters. its the media’s job to cover ALL of them. Not just the ones who can offer them the most money. So, let’s talk about a real debate with all the candidates, rather than a staged contest between the two rich kids to determine who can squeeze the working people of the state tighter.

Again, we find ourselves agreeing with and defending Carl Paladino. We know it’s absurd. We know his politics are divisive. We can’t imagine him winning, and the prospect of him actually doing so disturbs us.  And yet, when he swings at Andrew Cuomo we find ourselves cheering. Why?
