Thursday, Friday, Saturday – Protest Escalation in Iraq

UPDATE:  There will be a protest against the escalation in Iraq, this coming Saturday, 1/13/07, taking place at the Armed Forces Plaza in Hauppauge, 100 Veterans Highway, right in front of the H Lee Dennison Building. It will be held from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.

UPDATE:  Say No to Bush’s Escalation of War on Friday from 4-7 pm in Water Mill at the Windmill Green on Route 27 (Montauk Highway). Sponsored by United for Peace & Justice and East End Peace People.

January 15 (Monday): M.L.King Jr. Annual Breakfast in Southampton at 10 am at the Rogers Memorial Library on Windmill Lane in Southampton Village.  Join us for our annual joyful community breakfast in celebration of the life and legacy of the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. We will have food, music by the ELI Psalmist Community Choir and fellowship, followed by a short talk by Rev. Ronald Richardson, pastor of Queen

January 15 (Monday): M.L.King Jr. Annual Breakfast in Islandia at 8 am

On Monday, January 15, 2007, the First Baptist Church of Riverhead will sponsor its twenty-second annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast. The celebration will be held at 8:00 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Wind Watch Hotel in Islandia, New York.  Among those honored will be Cynthia Richardson, Long Island Director of the Urban League and Peter C. Saros, Founding Member of the Long Island Organizing Network (LION).
