The environmental and public health nightmare that began in New York City on 9/11 was unprecedented in it’s nature. The spread of toxic dust has resulted in hundreds of cases of firemen, rescue workers, police, and residents suffering from significant respiratory symptoms. The “WTC cough” has caused serious and persistent disabilities with an expected reduced life expectancy. So far we have only seen the tip of the iceberg. In the face of this calamity the Giuliani and Bush Administrations have responded with lies and deception.
