This video is from the Long Island Global Warming Summit, held at Farmingdale SUNY on September 19th. Eric of Zenbend.com shares wire-bending technique with a group of children and adults. On the video, you can learn how to make an easy wall hanger from a recycled wire hanger, and how to make a star sculpture by interlocking several hangers. Director: Kimberly Wilder of onthewilderside.net
This was the first LI Global Warming Summit. It had a lot of interesting exhibits. Two county executives were on hand, and a representative from the NYC Mayor’s office. And, there were several workshops with prominent, Long Island environmental activists.
Ian and I did a worksop on using electoral politics to fight global warming. The video of that will be forthcoming in the next week or so.
