Concert For Peace II 3/2/07

Thanks to the success of our first Concert For Peace, a Concert For Peace II will be held on March 2nd from 5:30-9:00pm at the Cinema Arts Centre, 423 Park Ave. in Huntington. Be sure to visit: myspace.com/concertforpeace to hear the bands who performed at the first concert and those who will be performing at the March 2nd concert.

The activists area is filled with representatives from 12 local organizations. Our host for the evening will be DJ Lister of WBAI & WUSB fame. There will be a special raffle to support the upcoming Winter Soldier hearings. There is a $7.00 suggested donation at the door, but no one will be turned away.

Due to such an overwhelming response, a third concert is in the planning stage. Because these events are non-profit and being run totally on donations, any help you can provide is appreciated. Checks can be made out to LI Counter Military Recruiting, and mailed to
Karen Sackett, 11 Lilly Ct., Moriches, NY 11955.

Thanks to everyone’s support in this special project – looking forward to a great event!
