You can’t ignore Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy, who ran unopposed for a second term and is stashing away oodles of campaign money. There’s no love lost between Suozzi and Levy, either. Levy’s the type of conservative Democrat who will run well upstate, even if the party’s New York City base will never forgive his immigrant-bashing ways. In fact, there’s some speculation he could wind up running as a Republican!
