Background:
Pat Friedman is an activist (and former Green Party candidate) who is working on opposing the Trump on the Ocean project that Donald Trump is trying to build at Jones Beach. Civic groups and environmental groups have shown opposition to this overblown project that is too big and too expensive for a historic, public beach. An example of some of the many problems is requesting to have a basement on this property that is in a flood zone, and also asking the state to cover the flood insurance.
Pat is calling for an investigation of how this project got so far through the pipeline. And, she is appealing to the Governor and Attorney General.
