Bronze Statue of Fonzie

from Small Business Times

SBT Around Town: Milwaukee unveils the Bronze Fonz
(excerpt)

Milwaukee’s newest tourist attraction arrived today. During a ceremony that was attended by hundreds of people, a statue of the “Happy Days” television character Arthur Fonzarelli was unveiled along the city’s riverwalk downtown. Actor Henry Winkler, who played the leather jacket-clad Fonzie, attended the ceremony. Most of the cast of television show also attended.

KW: I loved the Fonz. We used to watch Happy Days as a family in our den with the blue couch. And, when I grew up, I came to love Henry Winkler who played the Fonz. Henry Winkler has learning disabilities, and he has worked on projects to empower children struggling with learning disabilities. A real hero. (Liking the Fonz is about as cool as I get.)

Hot off the youtube. Cynthia McKinney for President, Rosa Clemente for Vice President, the Green Party for the future…Very exciting. Has clips from the convention in Chicago and lots more cool stuff…(Is “cool” acceptable vocabulary in the Hip Hop community? I think I am getting dated…I like Fonzie…) […]
