ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Long Island /Somos el Futuro/ conference is an annual legislative gathering focused on addressing the needs and challenges of the growing Hispanic community on Long Island. A principal goal of this conference is to increase the participation of Hispanics in the public policy making progress and develop local and state legislative initiatives that address issues of concern for Hispanic Long Islanders.   1. La informacion y los programas deben hacerse en los dos idiomas, si queremos una participacion real de la comunidad hispana, aun mas si hubiera quin nom hable español, la traduccion debe hacerse del español al ingles
