I have yet to hear about one of the first Green Congressional races that we should know about definitively: Harold Burbank in CT’s 4th District. I have seen some polls that suggest the NY’s 3rd party vote may go as high as 6 or 7 percent (this certainly suggests that 3rd parties will be reckoned with in the Empire State), but have heard little about CT.
CSPAN is taking callers; I may try to get on with a comment like the above, the influence of 3rd parties in various places (even Chuck Baldwin is getting mentioned in MO results)!

matt lav! now I feel bad for not voting for any green ‘party-ers’ today.
Glad to see Evan tuning in to ontheWilderside. You must be happy with the results you’ve seen so far. What do you make of the exit polling, particularly issues related exit polling.
Comedy Central’s coverage has just begun. We’ll have lots to talk about this week.
You know I haven’t heard all that much about exit polling. I’ve been tune in mostly to cnn and the daily show. overall I’m pretty happy, though I have to say I was hoping Obama could pull off Texas just as a slap to the face of Republicans.
Looks like Obama just won. Here’s hoping he’ll live up to his potential and really change the way things are being done. Fingers crossed over here.
On the subject of the Green Party, I hope that you guys really gain some traction this election, and I really hope the opportunity presents itself in the next few years for some seats to be grabbed by third parties.
