Important news about Gaza: US makes agreement with Israel

This is an important event and maneuver. A Green Party person suggested it was a way for Bush to tie Obama’s hands on Israel/Palestine policy. (Though, I think Obama and Bush have similar desires in that region.)

Here is a quick story. Pulled it from media in India, in hopes it would have less spin. Probably should be studied on sites like Alternet or Common Dreams, when they have time to process this all out…

US, Israel sign deal to boost Gaza truce effort

The United States and Israel on Friday signed an agreement intended to assure that Hamas militants will not be able to rearm if the Jewish state agrees to a Gaza cease-fire.
