Subject: With sadness – both Harvey Pekar and Tuli Kupferberg have just passed away.

It’s with an overwhelming sadness that I share the news of the passing of both Harvey Pekar and Tuli Kupferberg.

May their memory, and their creativity in diverse media, be a blessing to us all, and future generations.

  1. RIP – Tuli Kupferberg, 86, was born in, lived in, and died in New York City. This is where he was a pacifist, an anarchist, an artist, a musician, an author and an all around freak. http://urdead2me.wordpress.com/2010/07/12/rip-tuli-kupferberg/

  2. RIP – Harvey Pekar, 70, lived in Cleveland, Ohio all of his life. At the age of 26 he got a job as a file clerk at a V.A. hospital there and kept at it for the next 35 years. It was monotonous. http://urdead2me.wordpress.com/2010/07/12/rip-harvey-pekar/
