June 2012: LI School Budget Re-Vote results

Long Island School Budget Vote story at Long Island Press: here.

All of the nine school budgets on Long Island which were put up for a re-vote on June 19th passed.

These include (in alphabetical order):

Center Moriches School District
Comsewogue School District
East Islip School District
Elmont School District
Floral Park-Bellerose School District
Mount Sinai School District
Oysterponds School District
Three Village School District
Tuckahoe School District

The Elmont School budget was less than the budget voted on (and rejected) the first time around. Though, it was still slightly higher than the NY State imposed tax-cap, and passed by over the 60% margin needed.
