David Rovics headlined the Veterans for Peace Long Island fundraiser on 4/19/09 at the Cinema Arts Center. There was also poetry from Thomas Brinson and Lori Perdue. The opening musical acts were Shawnee Kilgore and Left on Red.  The evening was hosted by VFPLI coordinator Camillo “Mac” Bica.
