In Long Island: Demo against unfair military recruiting of youth

Sunday, August 2nd from noon until 2:00pm: Say No to an Army Experience Center on Long Island! Smithhaven Mall, Lake Grove As most of you know, the Army Experience Center (AEC) in Philadelphia is a video arcade recruitment facility that manipulates our children into enlisting and into thinking that war is a game.

Shut down the “Army Arcade” – a way to glamorize the army to young people

There will be a demonstration on Saturday, May 2nd at the Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia, PA, to express community outrage about the Army Experience Center, an arcade for young people which includes bloody video games and gun play with life-like targets. A group of Long Island peace activists will attend.
