In Nassau County: Help Evergreen for Congress and Cynthia for Prez

Link to petition for Evergreen for Congress, 5th District and McKinney/Clemente for Presidential Ticket on the same petition is here: http://www.web.gpnys.com/?dl_id=9. Deadline is Aug. 14th-ish. The districts to use are below. They include Nassau County!

This is a special message to green and progressive friends in Nassau who might be up for a race-against-the-clock effort to help a really, cool, green!

Evergreen Chou is a Green from New York City. He has been very active in the green activist groups and green electoral activism. Evergreen and his wife, Day Starr, live green values. They have gotten wonderful press–from candidate coverage, to coverage of an event where they went into a community space to invite people to fold origami peace cranes.

If you could get 10 or 20 signatures for them by August 14th (or, maybe a day or two more, if you will deliver or overnight them), it would be awesome. You could contact Evergreen at evergreen888 at gmail dot com or contact the GPNYS Statewide Petition Coordinator, Michael O’Neil by email at petition at gpny dot org or by phone at (917) 825-3562.

Any help would be much appreciated. Besides that we could really use the signatures for McKinney/Clemente, it is awesome to collect for McKinney in Nassau and help a worthy green, trying to run for Congress.

The four pillars of the Green Party are: Non-violence/Peace, Grassroots Democracy, Social and Economic Justice, Ecological Wisdom. Please support these values by supporting Green Party candidates.

Peace and thanks,
Kimberly
