Playing for Jean: A duet with Steven Schmidt and Kimberly Wilder

…and lots more.

Poems by Jean Schmidt aka Grace Darling

Friday, September 26, 2008
at 7:30pm
Caffé Portofino
249 Main St. Northport

As many of you know, my close friend Jean Schmidt passed away last year. I am so pleased to be performing a song that Jean and her husband, Steven wrote together. Steven will sing and I will play flute. We have had a few rehearsals (hence the photo.)

Hope people will come to this event to honor Jean and support Steven.

Last Friday of the month at 7:30 at Caffé Portofino,
249 Main St., Northport, opposite the theatre:
September 26, 2008

Performers and friends:
Doug Swezey, Kate Kelly, and Tammy Nuzzo-Morgan
reading poems by Jean Schmidt aka Grace Darling
Plus songs Jean co-wrote performed by Jill Decker
(Turtlehead), Steven Schmidt, and Kimberly Wilder.

There will also be an Open Reading — the audience and friends are encouraged to bring their poems and participate.
