Hank Stone will be the featured performer at the Babylon Green Party annual Holiday Party on December 2, 2009 at Pisces Cafe, Babylon
Hey, everybody, I hope you are all adjusting to the end of summer and the start of the school year, and gearing up for the mad rush to the holidays…
My new band, Rough Folk, consists of my friends Todd Evans and Mike Christian. I am excited to have their amazing talents to add depth and color to my songs. We have already played at the Huntington Folk Festival, as well as at several other local places. We have a brand new website, at www.roughfolk.com.
Rough Folk are honored to have been asked to inaugurate an exciting new musical venue, The Homegrown Music Cafe. It all happens next Saturday, September 19, at 8:00pm, at St. Gerard Majella church in Port Jefferson Station. Our friend Pedro Pereira and his friends Ralph Antignano and Jose De Jesus have put a lot of work into making this a comfortable and inspiring event. Lois Morton, as well as Pedro and Jose, will also be performing. The proceeds go to support the church’s outreach program. You can also catch me performing solo several times in October and November, including back-to-back John Lennon tributes on Oct. 8th and 9th. Check out my calendar at http://fburls.com/57-4AkNT6Wc/t/s/txt/cid/549636/sid/90195967. I’ll be sending out reminders for all these shows as well, but put them on your calendar now!
Hope to see you soon!
Hank
