Hurricane Sandy hit Long Island hard. North Babylon is not a shore community. Still, the wind knocked down trees and caused damage. Below is a video, photo, and photo album link, for trees that were down at North Babylon High School on Deer Park Avenue. As of Wednesday, many of the branches were cleaned up.

Wow, looks like North Babylon was hit pretty hard. Hopefully power will be restored back soon and the gas situation will be fixed.
