R.I.P. Hilly Kristal

Back in 2002, we had the good fortune to interview CBGB’s founder Hilly Kristal for our Rock, Rock, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Issue. I thought I’d share his words and those on or by the people who were a part of the scene he helped foster.
