Join us on Saturday, December 22nd, for a beautiful ceremony to welcome the introspective period of winter. As our garden enters into the darkness – the period of soil rest and rejuvenation – we are reminded that winter is a vital time for us too, that the cold sometimes dark days of winter allow us to rejuvenate and to reflect… to see what seeds we have planted, sown and harvested in our own lives and to prepare for the future bounty before us.
Winter Solstice Celebration
December 22 at 7:30pm
Meet in the parking lot of 555 Albany Avenue, Amityville near the garden; this will be an outdoor event.
Please bring chairs, blankets, flashlights, and mugs for the hot apple cider that will be provided. It promises to be a wonderful ceremony, complete with a warm fire.
