Friday, the Department of Homeland Security released its final regulations for states to implement the United States’ first-ever national I.D. card system, the Real ID Act.

Across the country, an overwhelming number of states, organizations, and individuals from all sides of the political spectrum have come out in opposition to the Real ID as yet another one of President Bush’s unprecedented attacks on Americans’ privacy rights.

Join us in Huntington tonight to hear from state and local experts on why a national I.D. card system threatens Americans’ privacy and American values. Come find out about the new movement in New York to reject Real ID.
