Pisces Cafe is our favorite eatery, and the best place in the world for an interesting cup of tea. Pisces is usually opened for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Though, this weekend, they will also be open on Sunday (June 7, 2009) to celebrate the sidewalk festival in Babylon Village – Spring Fling.
Pisces serves loose tea. And, if you tell them your mood, your favorite flavors, or to just surprise you, they will mix and match a tea just for you. They have also started carrying all the little goodies such as teapots with built in filters, mesh tea balls, and even mate straws that will allow you to enjoy tea at home, too.
They have a great lunch menu, including meals for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The veggie burger is awesome! The Pisces veggie burger has boysenberry sauce. Yum. Yum.
So, in answer to the question, “What is there to do in Long Island this weekend?”, for some fun, window shopping, and socializing this Sunday, stop by Main Street Babylon Village. Mill about the sidewalks, check out the shops (including a toy store, some gift and home shops, and Sherry’s Health Food Store), listen to some outdoor music, and then stop by Pisces Cafe for tea, dessert or lunch. Pisces cafe is located at 14A Railroad Ave (just around the corner from Main Street, facing the train station). This Sunday, Pisces will be open 11am to 6pm…or even a little later if the sidewalk is buzzing…
