Blogging vs. Poetry: Sparrow comments

About the video…The Poetry Project New Year’s Day Poetry Marathon was a great chance to meet celebrity poets and musicians. I took the opportunity to watch a rehearsal of Foamola, and get a quick interview with Sparrow. In this video, Sparrow discusses the difference between blogging and poetry. The end titles have an excerpt from the Foamola song, “Ain’t Gonna Blog No More” — a New Year’s resolution that Sparrow is not keeping.

Interviewer: Ian Wilder. Director: Kimberly Wilder. Music by Foamola.

You can see the full Foamola performance and more from the New Year’s Day reading at Claire De Lune’s youtube: here.
