Sue Tibke is an enthusiastic Nonviolent Communication (NVC) practitioner. Her passion has been teaching music movement and theatre to preschoolers. Nonviolent Communication is a way of relating to ourselves and other people, free of past reactions. NVC teaches a practitioner to identify and express their own needs and understand the needs of others. Tibke has been living the NVC process for over four years now, and has over 450 hours of devoted training time. Currently assisting in an NVC foundations class, she has also co-led practice groups, and facilitated game nights based on NVC. Tibke is a committed peace-worker who loves living in her truth. She is also a NY State certified Mediator, as well as a devoted mother of two up and coming NVC practitioners. Tibke recently started exploring Restorative Justice.

Gregg Wills

Gregg Wills

Gregg Wills is a graduate of the North American Bay 2007 NVC Leadership Program, with over five hundred hours of training. He assisted and taught at the Living Peace retreat in Litchfield Connecticut and assisted in the Bay NVC 2008 Leadership program. Wills is a N.Y.S. Licensed Massage Therapist and is a student of Vipassana Meditation. He also works as a Mediator; a Restorative Justice Facilitator; and a private counselor. Wills has most recently joined the Center For Restorative Practices, Inc. Restorative justice emphasizes having victims, offenders and community members meet voluntarily to decide how to repair the harm caused by crime.

Babylon Green Party Gatherings are held on the first Wednesday of every month:

  • The August 5, 2009 Gathering will feature a showing of the film Sicko as a bonus to the 100 Days Series
  • The September 2, 2009 Gathering will feature folk legend Bob Westcott
  • The October 7, 2009 Gathering will feature Sr. Jeanne Clark speaking about World Peace Day activities
  • The December 2, 2009 Gathering will feature the re-scheduled performance of Stephanie Carlin for the annual Green Party Holiday Party.

The Green Party is an alternative party to the Democrats and Republicans. The four pillars of the Green Party are: Nonviolence/Peace; Grassroots Democracy; Social and Economic Justice; and Ecological Wisdom.
